About

I work with painting, textiles, ceramics, and found materials, each carrying its own history and presence.

I return to ordinary things: a glass, a doorway, a shell, a piece of clothing, a book, an airplane. I look at them for a long time, until they begin to reveal something beyond their everyday function.

Every object bears traces of a life. Not because it is old, but because it has been lived with. A doorway remembers passage. A piece of clothing remembers a body.

What interests me is not the object itself, but the way we carry it within us. We know things because we have lived beside them. We have touched them, used them, remembered them, and encountered them in films, literature, and everyday life.

When I alter their scale, material, or context, I am not trying to transform them into something else. Instead, I am making space for attention. Within that space, recognition gives way to imagination, and familiarity becomes wonder.

I do not wish to explain or tell stories. I hope the work remains open, allowing each person to encounter it through their own memories and quiet observations.
